Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

I have this issue, on my computer i use a cable modem, so whenever the box looks for some host or ip, it goes through the cable modem, but i need to tell linux that when it looks for , or it must go through my router (, i suppose i can do it with iptable, but i dunno how to use them.

Anyone knows how ? huh.gif
