I recently was attacked with a trojan, of sorts, and I wanted to try Linux anyway. I got Suse 9.0 personal editition. I wasn't attempting to dual boot with WinXP Pro, I wanted it off my system, and only run Linux. During the trojan attack, there was a partition that has been hidden, and when my computer starts, first boot of the day, or after it has been shut down completely, it will hang, and say something like failed to load...something..it couldn't find my hard drive on ititial boot, but if you hit the reset button, it see's the hard drive. So I wanted to get rid of all of that and start from scratch, any idea's to totally wipe it out, and start fresh with linux?
