When I try to install the deb file created from an RPM, I get the following error message. Anyone know where I can find the source for these (ATI Radeon 9200SE 128mb is the card) or a Deb file that works?

root@box:/home/knoppix# dpkg -i fglrx-glc22_4.3.0-4.7_i386.deb
(Reading database ... 119169 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking fglrx-glc22 (from fglrx-glc22_4.3.0-4.7_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing fglrx-glc22_4.3.0-4.7_i386.deb (--install):
trying to overwrite `/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2', which is also in package xlibmesa-gl
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
fglrx-glc22_4.3.0-4.7_i386.deb

Hi,

You should check this site :

http://www.desktop-linux.net/ati.htm

It is a howto, with links to both *.deb and *.rpm drivers for ati.

Sincerely

Gah, that page didn't seem to help me (Following the directions acually made my FPS go down, and didn't help me with OpenGL at all) ;_;

Anyone know of a custom deb file that works with the 9200SE (Perhaps it didn't work because it was a 9200SE instead of a 9200 *shrugs*)?
