I'm you're average computer geek, just getting into Linux. As an average computer geek, I'm lazy. So so so so so lazy. My webserver is downstairs and I would like some suggestions as to how to administrate my server downstairs from upstairs. File uploading/downloading/editing is a must. If you could also include a quickstart guide/link to a quickstart guide it would be appreicated.

My server stats are as follows:
Cyrex 500mhz
64mb pc66
8.4gb
Mandrake 9.2

I know what you're thinking... thats some fly schiznatch uh... yo.

Also, I've been having trouble mounting my drive. (BTW My box sucks too much for x (video card sucks hard core)) I tried mount -t iso9660 /dev/sda /mnt and some other variations, but its not working. Its a phillips CD-RW, Im passing the hdb=ide-scsi variable hence the sda.
