I was wondering if there is a linux equivalent to ctrl-alt-del to bring up any type of task manager dealy in kde 3.2. Today I had an application freeze and I had to reboot because I couldn't do anything. I was also wondering if there were any good dvd players for Linux.

Ctrl-Alt-F1 to F6 will normally open a console screen where you can log out ... also Ctrl-Alt-Backspace kills the current GUI session.

Ctrl-Alt-F7 takes you back into a GUI mode after exiting via Ctrl-Alt-F1 to F6...

Dvd Players:
Mplayer ... Xine ... VLC
