Hello!

I'm a new Linux user. I don't know how to install a new program???
When I have download my new program, and "click" on it, it comes up a text?
I'm so confused.Plz help and sorry for my bad English.

Please don't post the same question into multiple sections of the Forum (for example, don't post the same question into Technical Support and Hardware) biggrin.gif ... I removed your other post in the hardware section.

How to install a program (usually called a package in Linux) is dependant upon which linux distribution you are using. What is your Linux distro and version?
