With Red Hat 9.0

At the prompt, how does one change the host name of a PC?

What file needs to be edited

As root (su -), issue the command "hostname" followed by the hostname you want to use.

you will also need to go into /etc/hosts and change the hostname in there.

And one last thing you also have to edit is the "/etc/sysconfg/network" file. I changed my hostname yesterday, and it doesn't show unless you do this.
