Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

Hi all,
I am a newbie in Linux.
I am installing a Linux 7.3 with samba installed.
I am able to browse my Linux Shared folders from My Windows Systems, but how do I browse to my windows shared folders from Linux?? and how do I access them?

I normally mount them (see this thread) and then use Nautilus (GNOME) or Konqueror (KDE) to access the files.
