Hello.

I set up an apache server with virtual directories for users (/~username). I set up all the required chmode. This works fine when someone access the page, but if a want to list the contents of some directories(from public_html) I got an 403 error. So, I need for some dirctories to be listed from www. What should I do?

Make sure you have the indexes option enabled for your / directory.

CODE
<Directory />
   Options FollowSymLinks Includes Indexes
   AllowOverride None
</Directory>
