Ok i have a frustrating on..
when i type "startx" on my debian (sarge) box after isntalling
i get an error..says the command doesnt exist
...but if i use X the screen goes blank for a quick second..and then comes back and gives an error
says the Input device "/dev/mouse" doesnt exist
but when i goto the conf file and change it (to /dev/usb/mouse0 -- through 10/which i have listed there)
and it all says the same thing (loads, gives blank screen, crashes with error), so my question is
is there any way to make Debian AutoDetect my mouse?
My mouse btw.. its a Packard Bell USB 2Button Scroll mouse
