Please pardon the stupidity of a newbie.

I have just installed SuSE Linux 9.0 on my PC. I saw that Gnome2 wasn't loaded, and want to compare/contrast KDE and Gnome.

I went into the SuSE tool, YAST, and loaded Gnome2 through this system (Install Software).

It appeared to run ok. However, when I try to load Gnome, I get the following error message -

Failed to load image gnome-terminal.png

Details : file not found

I did a find file, and there are several different sized images with this file name.

I am running this in 800x600 mode (darn eyes!), and am not sure what size the image should be.

Anyone else run into this problem?

I think that is just the picture (actually the icon) that is shown for the gnome-terminal on menus and shortcuts .... It shouldn't have any affect on the system and you should be able to pick another icon....
