Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

Hi everyone. I loaded Linux Mandrake 9.2 on an IBM Thinkpad 560X, it dected everthing but the sound card. How do I load a sound driver to see if a generic one will work? I'm new at this. I need to knoe the command line and everythin on how to load drivers. Thanks Joe L. unsure.gif

try the command:

modprobe cs4232
