Hi,

I am trying to download red hat 9.0 but everywhere i go there are two types, shrike-SRPMS and shrike-i386. I am new to linux so can someone please explain the difference.

You don't need the SRPMS discs ... those are the source code discs that the binary (installable) discs are made from.

All you need is shrike-i386-disc1.iso, shrike-i386-disc2.iso, and shrike-i386-disc3.iso.
