I have purchased a PC with Gigabyte GA8KNXP Ultra Motherboard which comes with a in built SCSI Controller of Adaptec AIC7902W Chipset. The PC is built with Fujitsu Harddisk as well. The Software i have purchased for some specific purpose can run only in Redhat Linux 7.2. Unfortunately AIC7902W is not supporting with RH 7.2. I have only one Hard disk in my PC and i need to run in SCSI only. I was trying to install Redhat 9 in the same PC and at installation time itself 9 probes for AIC799xxx.o file and everything going cool. Now, while installing 7.2 it give no Hard Disk media found because of the reason it couldn't identify SCSI Controller. But AIC79xxx.o is supported since Version 6.2. Is there any way out to configure at boot time and get it installed in my SCSI Hard Disk, please advise.
