Hi,

I have recentyl built a Redhat 7.2 Box and could do with a little help.

When you login (telent, SSH etc) and you correctly authenticate it displays some information before the prompt: e.g.:

login as: root
root@somehost's password:
Last login: Sat Nov 16 12:07:03 2002 from somehost
From root Sun Oct 13 13:56:54 2002
To: john
Subject: Test

[root@somehost root]#

Where can I controll this information that is displayed at logon? (e.g. what deciedes to display last logon?).

Where is it getting information about that mail from? (there is nothing in root's mail folder or inbox?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Simon
