I'm new to Open Office, and am trying to get worksheets from Excel to work. The rand() formula works fine in open office, but I can't get the rand.between() function to work. It will give me a single random number within the range I specify, but will not update or recalculate teh cell when I recalculate the whoel spreadhseet, while the rand() function behaves normally. I suppose I can just multiply rand() by the number of interest and round, but I'd have to go back and change a lot of spreadsheets to do so. Ideas?

I can verify the behavior in openoffice 1.1.0 ... I don't see any way to fix it (on recalculate cells - F9).

It will recalculate on recalc whole worksheet (Shift-Ctrl-F9) but not on recalculate cell (F9).
