I'm running a Redhat Linux 8.0 server with apache2 and PHP4; I compiled apache2 and PHP from their sources using the following options.
I installed PHP4 as a DSO and made the necessary changes to apache's httpd.conf. Everything works fine when using the servers FQDN, but when I try to access a php-page using the servers IP, the php-page isn't processed and served as a download for my browser.
