I am familiar with linux, but not very familiar with proxy serving. When I came to work here, they had a windows pc running a program called ComTun proxy server. It was on a trial version, however they owned and older version that didnt expire. I loaded the older version and its performance is questionable. I dug out an older Dell PC (PII-300) and loaded RedHat 9 to use as a proxy server for the incoming T1. I have been able to get the httpd program (formerly apache) to route simple http requests, but I am unable to get to my email services (standard POP email on a hosted domain) through the proxy server. I also cannot access my hosted website throught ftp. I get an error "XML Page cannot be displayed" when I try to access . Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Are you also trying to make this a Gateway / router .... and do you need an internal network on the inside and real ip's on the outside?
