I recently installed a borrowed hard drive that our teacher handed out for practice. I installed Red Hat v.9 and just did the regular graphic installation. I now need to take the hard drive back to my teacher and when I took it out and rebooted the message "GRUB read error" came up. How do I take care of this problem.
P.S. My other hard drive is running Windows XP Professional.

Boot from your WinXP CD and start the Recovery Console ... then use the fixmbr command to restore your MBR.
