Hi, I just installed Red Hat 9.0 (KDE) on an Evesham Voyager - Mobile AMD XP 2400+ w/ 512MB Ram.

My video card is an Intel ProSavage KM133 using 32 of the 512MB ram.
I have set the display to Generic 1024x768 laptop display and the resolution is correct, however i cant get the resolution to change to 60Hz, even setting the virtical refresh rate range at 60.0-60.0 in "system settings - display" doesn't work and the refresh rate stays at 40Mhz (i think).

As you can imagine this is a strain on the eyes! Any ideas on forcing it to use a refresh rate of 60Hz?

Any help greatly appreciated,

You can try editing the XF86Config-4 file in /etc/X11/ to manually set it. Please be sure that the screen can support it before you make the change.
