If anybody has suggestions to this problem, i would be indebted to them! smile.gif
Heres the problem:

I have a medium sized network set up (25 workstations mainly windows boxes) the main server is SusSE 8.2. The problem that im having is that i cannot browse "computers near me" in network neighbourhood from some machines. while from other machines i can browse no problem except with the fact that im able to browse machines that i know are off!

Any ideas on how i can solve this problem.

need more info?

the specific error message im getting when i try to browse computers near me is :
<workgroup> is not accessible. The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.

the same message occurs when i try to browse via entire network.

Any help would be much appreciated!!
