Today ive come from windows XP to Linux. Mainly to see what all the fuss is about. Im running Linux Suse. And i dont know how to get my network running. 1st computer has windows XP. Mine has Linux Suse 8.1 Pro. Im not sure even where the options are. I need to set a the computer IP to 192.168.0.1 and connect to workgroup MSHOME.

Update:

Ive found a bit of settings i could change

I set the IP address to a static 192.168.0.2
I set the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0
I set the default gateway to 192.168.0.1 (Main computer with main connections IP address)
I ticked IP Forwarding
