How on earth can you open a port on red hat firewall? Thanks in advance.

Download the iptables script on our guides page and use that. It's straight forward and very simple to add/block ports.

I use ipkungfu with Redhat 9.0. It is easy to install, it comes with a startup script for /etc/init.d, and the configuration files are easy to understand and to edit (Its easy to open ports). You can get it at:
