I'm running Mandrake 9.0. When I try to burn a cd using XCDRoast it copies all the audio tracks but when it enters the Finalising stage it just hangs and I need to shutdown the PC to get the disc out. The CD writer is a standard philips which runs fine on W2000 using nero.

I downloaded the latest version of cdrecord, did the make on it then copied the binary into /usr/bin where the original binary was held.

If I copy all the tracks without finalising then finalise at the end it works fine.

Anybody have any ideas or had a similar problem? huh.gif
