Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

I succesfully installed Redhat Linux, now, when i start up it loads and when its about to open my desktop i get a frequency error and the light blinks on my monitor. What is this? How do I fix it? Thanks

Your monitor can't display the selected frequency of the X display...which means the values for HorizSync and VertRefresh in the file /etc/X11/XF86Config are not set correctly.

You need to find the proper values for Vertical refresh rate and Horizontal frequency for your monitor and then edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config file and update the two values HorizSync and VertRefresh.
