Hello there..

My os is using Redhat9.0. I just want to try to use BNC. I download the bnc2.6.2. The bnc is successfully installed. During installation the VHOST i insert the a.b.c.d and not the ip. Is that corret? The purpose is I want my irc info will be like this myname@a.b.c.d. But by following the command /server a.b.c.d:6669, it's didn't work. But when I use /server 90.0.0.1, it will continue like normall without any problem until I can succesfully get trough the irc server.

But when connected my info is still the myname@ipaddress. So how to make my info in irc is like myname@a.b.c.d ?
