So i have a MySql database set up on a redhat box, i can connect to the db from the box, but when i try to connect from another pc it says: host is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server, so i was wonderin if anyone could help me unsure.gif

Hi,

you specify the host when you are adding users. see http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Adding_users.html for an example.
