how do you startup the graphical mode if you startup in text...? cool.gif

You can edit /etc/inittab and change the runlevel from 3 to 5

Change
id:3:initdefault:
to
id:5:initdefault:

Joey's suggestion will make is so that your system always boots in graphic mode.

you could also just type "startx" at the prompt
