I am pretty new to the world of Linux so my question may seem trivial to some. I have just performed a full install of Red Hat Linux 9 Professional on my computer and I am trying to setup it up to be a syslog server. However, I don't know how to do it. I have tried to find information on the Internet but I have been unsuccessful thus far. I'm pretty sure I'll need to edit /etc/syslog.conf and maybe even /etc/rc.d/init.d/syslog but I do not know where to start. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
