Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

Hi. I just installed Linux when I moved to college. For one of my classes, I am required to use JBuilder. I installed JBuilder 9 under my personal user (not root). When installing JBuilder, it uses its own personal installer. Whenever I try to run the program, I get:
[myuser@localhost bin]$ ./jbuilder
bash: ./jbuilder: Permission denied
If I try running the program under root, it will run. I have checked my permissions and I am fine on those (to the best of my knowledge). I can run other programs that I have installed; it is just this one that I can not run. Sorry if this is a type of question that is always asked and people are getting tired of answering it. I looked for it, and I could not find it.

Run ls -l on the file and paste the results.

Can you paste the first few lines of the script.

You can try running chmod 5755 jbuilder and then try running it as your user again.

Please excuse ignorance, what do you want me to paste the first few lines of?

I ran chmod 5755 jbuilder... these are the results:

[david@localhost bin]$ ./jbuilder
bash: ./jbuilder: Permission denied
[david@localhost bin]$ chmod 5755 jbuilder
[david@localhost bin]$ ls -l jbuilder
-rwsr-xr-t 1 david david 69296 Apr 29 05:41 jbuilder*
[david@localhost bin]$ ./jbuilder
bash: ./jbuilder: Permission denied

Still can't run it unless I use root.
