I have Mandrake 9.1 and have added a .Xinitrc and .Xsession in my home directory and added some customized start up programs (gnome and enlightment together). When I boot the computer it works like I want it to....BUT....when I log out to the login manager and select enlightment and then log back in then it does not use my start up script. What script is the login manager using to start each windows manager?

Thanks

Robb

Depends. If you're using Gnome login, you look up Gnome documentation. I assume the default for MDK 9.1 is Gnome login and KDE desktop. Then you use their desktop environment to load your start-up programs. i.e. in KDE, there's an autostart icon in icontray.
