Ive installed a proxy server as our internet gateway.

I can surf and download from any website without any problems.

But cannot make my Outlook application recognize that there is a proxy.

Any help would de appreciated.

Is the proxy server just a web proxy?

If so, you also must setup a router and maybe NAT/IP Masquarde.

Are the internal network machines on a 192.168.x.x network, a 10.x.x.x network, or a 172.16-31.x.x network ... if so you must use IP Masquarde/NAT.

You need 2 cards in the proxy machine (or a network card on the network and a modem). This is a good starting point:
