Hey, OK, I apoligise if this has been asked before. But iv'e recently installed Mandrake 9.0, and its set up on a seperate partition to my Windows 2000 one. Now, the problem is when I boot into Windows it tries to read the linux partition (being the silly retard that it is). And this in turn slows down my whole PC. So, obviously i'd prefer it if this didn't happen. Any ideas?

The linux partition is ext3 (i think)
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated smile.gif

Thank you

Brian

Well it tries to display the parition, it gives it a drive letter. So, for example it calls it E:, and Win2k just slowws down hugely. After about 5mins its ok though, it seems to realise it can't do anything with it and gives up. But its still there as a letter.

This person here has the same problem
