wink.gif Help,
I am a Linux newbie. When I installed RH9, it installed Grub so that Linux was the default start-up. I would like to make windows 98 the default for now. When I try to edit the grub.conf file, it says I don't have a program to read it. I have EMAc and Vi. Can I edit the config file, and if so, what program do I need?

You can edit the config file with any text editor as long as you have the proper permissions set on the file.

Log in as root and use either emacs, vi or pico to modify the config file.
