I am very new to Linux so please try and not give me answers that are overly techie. I have recently
installed Mandrake 9.0 on my machine which also runs 2000 pro on another partition. Mandrake install goes
fine until I get to the part where it configures video. The highlighted option is vesa so I press return but it
says there was an error and asks if I want to change somethings. No matter what I do I cannot get it to accept any configuration. On booting linux after login the error message just says no screens. I installed linux once before on another machine with no problems, the only difference I can see is other machine had on board video where as this one has a seperate card gainward pro/66tv geforce fx5200. Anyhelp would be appreciated. Please note I have absolutly no experience using the shell. Cheers Octriallach
