I require some guidance on my BIND setup.

I have configured named.conf for forward and reverse lookup of one of my public IP addresses . The probelm is although domain lookups work ok on the machine that is actually running bind, if I use system that is using another DNS server, (my ISPs DNS servers) my domain cannot be resolved .

Is this likely to be related to my ISPs records for my address?

Do I need them to implement classless IN-ADDR.ARPA delegation before I can host a domain accessible from the internet? I have already requested that my nameserer is registered with the root servers.

Any help gratefully received.
