Hey all,
Recently I found my Redhat6.2 box had crashed. The server was unresponsive, I could not connect remotely, could not ping the machine, no display on monitor, etc. I rebooted the machine and it came back up fine. Would there be a log file of some sort that I could reference in an effort to find a cause to this problem? Or any other way of finding out?
Thanks in advance,
Gareth

There's a bunch of log files in /var/log

You'll want to have a look at /var/log/messages first to see if there's anything there. Then try the other ones.
