[root@mcphersons1 atk-1.2.0]# make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
[root@mcphersons1 atk-1.2.0]#

How can I correct this issue, so make will work?

Thanks.

Did you do ./configure first? Currently I'm trying to install that same thing and having problems as well. I can ./configure and make with no problem. make check doesn't test at all, no fails passes, cuz no test run. And make install flashes by in a second and going to run the gtk2 ./configure tells me atk still isn't installed. Which I figured because the atk install seamed very quick and incomplete.

I was doing some more researching trying to find an answer to my problems... this site helped http://beyond.linuxfromscratch.org/view/cvs/x/atk.html It was able to give me instructions that used ./configure, make, make install within one command and for some ODD reason it seamed to bypass my problem.
