in my GCSE computer science coursework I have been asked to research the PS command and see what does. Does anyone on here know how to use the command and how it works? also does anyone know how to use the KILL command, as I am clueless about it?
finally does anyone know the correct usage and chain commands for the TOP command and anymore chain command for PS and KILL? any help would be really appreciate it.

The first step in killing the unresponsive process is locating it. There are two commands I use to locate a process: top and ps. With top, you get a full listing of currently running process. Although top is incredibly handy, it’s not always the most efficient means of getting the information you need. You can use the ps command to kill the Chrome process, if you do not want to view the real-time information offered from the top, since the ps command reports the snapshot of the current process, and grep prints the lines that match the pattern.
