Hi guys, first of all, i want to ask, is Remix OS based on Linux OS? I want to install this OS on my laptop. My laptop actually is pretty decent in specs and i believe Remix OS will run on this laptop. It's Compaq CQ40 from HP. it's got 1GB of RAM and it's running on Vista OS.

Unfortunately, this Remix OS just cannot be open after the booting mode. So my question is, does Remix OS require a more powerful laptop?

Android is based on linux and Remix OS is basically Android for a x86 based computer. I am unfamiliar with Remix and have no idea how it works.

From the link below the recommended requirements are:

2 GHz dual core processor or better
2 GB system memory
Minimum 8 GB of free hard drive space
