When installing Redhat 9, I initially chose the graphical installation method. Unfortunately, my keyboard & mouse wouldn't work, so I rebooted and did a text installation instead. Now, upon my first boot, once the graphical welcome/system configuration screen comes up, my mouse & keyboard quit working.

Any ideas as to why X would kill my standard ps/2 mouse & keyboard? unfortunately i have no USB devices at my disposal to try instead.

thanks

Hiya. I suggest you try "reconfigure-xserver xfree86-xfree86.conf" from command. I think it's a command like that and set up X to use your type of keyboard and mouse!
