hi reasonably experienced in Win usage. no prog. now wish to try Linux mint 17.3. viewd all the utube vids and gain the impression
that if I install this alongside W10 using gparted, then decide to uninstall the Linux, the win bootloader will no longer work
since the grub will have taken complete control. I wish to try Linux whilst retaining full operation of my W10 on the same
laptop. Dell 6400 intel 2.5g dual, 4g mem. 20g hd part available for Mint. thx ken

You can run mint just as a live DVD or as a virtual machine by installing VirtualBox. A virtual machine does not run as fast as a real hardware but will not not affect your W10. It can easily be deleted since it appears only as a file to windows.
