Hi, hopefully a quick question. i am using a mac mini to view multicast streams over a network (in a remote location) my guy there says the streams he's viewing are stuttering constantly. But when i record them using VLC, they are fine (they also don't stutter whilst its recording)
i want to do a tcp dump in the interface, but when i do. the captured stream suffers from extreme packet loss.. the stream itself is around 8Mb/s
i am using the following command

tcpdump -i eth0 -s0 -vvv src host 239.0.0.1 -w blah.ts

can someone advise how to improve my tcpdump so that i capture the raw mutlicast input that the computer is receiving?

thanks in advance
