Hello everyone! Nice to be in this forum.

I was hoping I could get some help.
I'm using a computer laptop at work with RHE6 which I installed some weeks ago. I've been testing it installing and uninstalling some software for work.

I tried to install (with no results) Mono, not knowing this cannot happen in RHE6 (and if it IS possible, I still don't know how).

Now when there are systems updates, it comes up with a few which cannot be updated. I'd like some help either getting rid of these packages or knowing how to install them.

Thanks everybody.

Are you using yum extender i.e. the GUI tool or just the command line tool yum or just RPM. yum should handle dependencies.

If you have a subscription then Redhat should be able to provide assistance with your problems. If not then updates will expire after 30 days.
