hey !!
i just installed linux slackware 9 on my laptop which already had windows xp so now i am runnning both xp and linux on my notebook and i hve got a "conexant Intl V92 MiniPCI Modem" and i dunno if thats a win modem or not unsure.gif . How do i find that out and how do i make it work if its not a win modem
pls help

Hiya, do you know anything more about your modem, I've just tried finding it, but I can't find anything on that modem, this is before seperating by OS . . . .

I'm sorry, I can't help on this one. My skill is with using google and I can't find anything that I might be able to say 'try this'. However I'm sure that someone else mite be able to help you. But it's a canadian website so the timezones are a bit squiffy!
