My NAS is an IOmega Storcenter Pro ix4-100. The drives (from what I can tell) are all good. The board is bad. I'm attempting to plug in the drives to a box to recover files from a live distro, but haven't had any luck yet. I've tried:

mdadm --assemble /dev/md0 /dev/sda1 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 /dev/sdd1

with no luck. It's a 4 drive array of 500 gb drives.
