I have the problem whit installation of the driver for wireless adapter. I assume it is something simple, but I am new to Linux. Here is the text from the terminal:
It is just last two lines for which I don't know why I get "permission denied" if I am logged in as root.

[wlanTest@gsimpson-xp-5 ~]$ su -
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 ~]# rmmod sdhci_pci
ERROR: Module sdhci_pci does not exist in /proc/modules
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 ~]# rmmod sdhci
ERROR: Module sdhci does not exist in /proc/modules
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 ~]# rmmod mmc_core
ERROR: Module mmc_core does not exist in /proc/modules
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 ~]# cd /home/wlanTest/Documents/host/dhd-cdc-sdstd-
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 dhd-cdc-sdstd-]# insmod dhd.ko
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 dhd-cdc-sdstd-]# cd ..
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 host]# cd ..
You have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 Documents]# cd ..
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 wlanTest]# cd /home/wlanTest/Documents/apps/
[root@gsimpson-xp-5 apps]# ./dhd -i eth1 download firmware.bin nvram.txt
-bash: ./dhd: Permission denied
