But i have a dude, if i install icecast as root, could i use that icecast with any of the users in the server?
What can i do if i want that the icecast be run on a specific user account?
How could i install it as normal user?

P.D. It's necesary install the icecast from the rpm or could i use the tar file?

It is easiest to install the server from CentOS repository. It may not be the latest version but will be automatically configured to work. I am unfamilar with how it works but assume it is configured as a service and can be automatically started at boot time.
The manual command is:
service icecast start ( must be run as root)

Starting services must be accomplished as root but that does not mean it runs as root. It should be available for use by any user.

icecast is located in the EPEL repos which needs to be enabled before installing.
