Greetings honourable Linux community..

Over a 2-year stretch, I tried to teach my 80's mum how to use Linux. Ended up she demanded I set her PC's back to "thht-windoze".
Can you believe the gut-wrenching nightmare it was to have to reinstall XP in two PC's after being used to Linux ways for several years.. "Oyie!"..
It's like "trying to stuff a wet-sneeze back in from where it came.. or "worse"...

I thinks the reason she couldn't connect with Linux (fedora & ubuntu"), is that these Linux OS's change drastically every year.. An elderly just doesn't possess the mental resources and stamina and will to be forever learning new OS's.. They need an OS that establishes itself as a stable OS, and maintains the user functionality always unchanging, like fedora-14 was... They need a desktop that is totally clean and customizable, without all that nauseating gaudy animation and willnots in their faces, like what happened to the new Ubuntu's & Fedoras.. The flish and flash is fun for the young and the non-thinkers, but those new crib collage desktops are like gazing into a swirling plugged toilet to the elderlies...

Go make your gaudy nighmarish animated wild desktops, but at least make a couple of good unchanging Ubuntu and Fedora OS's for the elderlies, like Centos-6 looks and works.. The Elderly are humanity too.. Give them some respect.. Stop torturing the elderlies with abstract experimental newness and psychotic insanity.. It makes the elderlies feel like the culture is rejecting them, pushing them out, and erasing them.. Be nice to the aged.. Soon All Of You will be the Aged too.. This continual growing mess of these insane desktops essentially runs against the base number one rule in the collective policy of the Linux brotherhood system, which be primary over-all love & kindness to all humanity... Seems the great vile demon "Money" is slowly taking control of the Linux system too, pulling it into its great hell-soup, like it does to everything.. Problem is that Money doesn't have a definition of Life in its equation.. it just consumes, eats, devours, and destroys, turning everything it touches into its own excrement before it eats it... Money is dying/suiciding, as you can see its in its death-throws globally this very now, and they're all feeding it Life in trying to "maintain a dying horse"...

Be nice to the old folks.. they are humanity too...
