Iíve been trying to revive an old computer, but Iím having a lot of problems booting almost every linux distro i tried (all lightweight). When the computer tries to boot from the CD, I either get a ISOLINUX error or the computer completely freezes.
The only distro Iím able to run is Damn Small Linux and only the version that uses the SYSLINUX bootloader. I think the problem is that the BIOS does not support current bootloaders.
I would like to know which other distros still support old bootloaders like SYSLINUX or if there is anything else I could do.
